Hog Island Oysters, a gift to man, and a great FAST lunch at the Ferry Building between class sessions. Dozen oysters and a glass of pinot gris. Happy. Quick backlit sketch of Anthony working the mounds of bivalves on ice, Pelikan fountain pen, then watercolor brush back over for values. Rough and tumble stuff, but fun.

Hi Chuck. I like this sketch. I do similar work with a combination of ultra fine tip Sharpie, Tombow, and a Niji water brush to dissolve the Tombow ink into washes. I came to the Academy to check it out two Sundays ago. I also have a blog at davidlobenberg.blogspot.com. It was nice meeting you!
